Senior Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks / RC Structures 📍 Brent Cross, London (NW2 area) JML are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major civils project based in Brent Cross. This is an opportunity for a commercially strong QS with proven experience in groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) structures / enabling works. Role Details * Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor * Location: Brent Cross, London * Start: ASAP * Rate: £350 – £450 per day – depending on experience Key Responsibilities * Commercial management of groundworks and RC packages * Subcontractor valuation, payments, and account management * Managing variations, change control, and cost reporting * Supporting project delivery teams with commercial insight * Cost forecasting and monthly reporting * Ensuring accurate commercial control across live packages Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior QS within groundworks and RC structures * Strong understanding of civils packages and subcontractor management * Experience working on large-scale construction projects * Ability to take ownership of commercial reporting and cost control * Strong negotiation and communication skills Project Overview Major civils scheme involving groundworks and reinforced concrete structural packages, requiring a commercially experienced QS to manage live subcontractor accounts and ensure robust cost control.
