Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Technician (Electrical) New Desford | Permanent | Manufacturing We're recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join one of the UK's leading manufacturers within the building materials industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering team responsible for maintaining highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Role You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement work to maximise plant performance and minimise downtime. Responsibilities ✔ Electrical fault finding and repairs ✔ Planned preventative maintenance ✔ Support plant improvement projects ✔ Work on PLC-controlled equipment, drives and automated systems ✔ Liaise with production to ensure maximum equipment availability ✔ Maintain high health & safety standards About You * Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent * Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance experience * Strong electrical fault-finding skills * Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives and control systems * Positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills This is a permanent opportunity with an industry-leading manufacturer offering long-term career development
