A prestigious US law firm are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Specialist to join their dynamic Energy & Infrastructure practice, to play a crucial part in shaping the practice’s growth and success through the preparation of marketing materials, coordinating client events, and supporting the development of new business opportunities.With offices strategically located in the United States and around the world, you will be joining a firm known for its strength in the energy, financial services, real estate, retail and consumer products, and technology industries, with a strong culture built upon an unwavering commitment to its clients, colleagues, and communities. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Team Management Director and Partners across the London, US, and UAE offices. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for developing high-quality proposals, pitch materials, and client presentations, working with partners to ensure that messaging and communications align with the firm’s strategic objectives. The successful applicant will also monitor industry news and conduct research to identify new business opportunities, helping the firm stay ahead of market trends in the energy and infrastructure sectors. In addition, you will assist in the creation of client-facing documents such as lawyer biographies and practice descriptions, ensuring that all content is current and market-ready. The role holder will be heavily involved with event coordination, including client events, webinars, and conferences, where you will be at the forefront of building and strengthening relationships with key clients.A proactive team player, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation and change, the ideal candidate will have proven business development experience, preferably gained within the legal or professional services sector. A post-graduate qualification in marketing or a related field will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across time zones will be key to your success in this role.
