Are you a passionate History Teacher looking for a new opportunity from January?We are working with a secondary school in Birmingham that is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from January 2027.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons across the curriculum.

The Role

• Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
• Assessing, marking and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting students in preparing for their GCSE examinations
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
• Carrying out the wider responsibilities expected of a classroom teacher
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching History
• Be confident teaching History to GCSE level
• Have strong curriculum and subject knowledge
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
• Be passionate about helping students make progress
• Be available to start in January 2027
