Control Systems Design Engineer

Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Design Engineer for an organisation based in Maldon, Essex, on a permanent basis.   Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)   The Role: This position will focus on the design and development of ultra-low temperature refrigeration systems to meet customer and product requirements.   Responsibilities: Develop and implement control algorithms (PID and advanced control strategies) for precise temperature regulation and system stability. Apply numerical modeling and simulation techniques to predict system behaviour. Integrate control systems with sensors, actuators, and refrigeration hardware. Research and propose innovative solutions to improve performance, cost, and sustainability. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.Your Background: Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in control systems design, with a focus on PID control and system dynamics. Proven experience in modeling and simulation (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools).
