You will be given comprehensive training and the opportunity to complete professional qualifications.Working as part of the UK Collection Team, the Coordinator role acts as a key support interface between Broker partners, onsite Product Towers, Broker and offshore (back-office operations.) This role supports effective collaboration across all parties to help meet financial targets through the timely collection of premium due from clients.The position focuses on supporting established processes, maintaining strong working relationships, ensuring account handlers maintain allocated accounts to the requisite standard and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across teams.Some of the key responsibilities include:Manage broker accounts to optimise collections performance through regular engagement, query resolution, and ledger oversightMaintain accurate ledger positions and ensure effective control of accounts receivable transactionsMeet monthly and quarterly targets in line with business goals and objectivesTake full ownership of allocated accounts, ensuring coding, commentary, and next actions are consistently updatedResolve account issues proactively to prevent overdue itemsSupport and validate Bad Debt items, contributing to reduction and improved ledger accuracyManage discrepancies (premium, commission, tax, gross differences) through agreed internal processesMonitor and action account entries daily, escalating issues to relevant teams where requiredCollaborate with third-party providers to ensure effective cash handling and query managementEnsure timely resolution and escalation of queries, maintaining accountability through to completionApply strong controls across cash processing, including validation and rejection of incorrect itemsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and participate in escalation forums (e.g. war rooms, project teams)What you’ll need to succeedCredit Control experienceInsurance experience advantageousStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levelsProven capability in managing reconciliations involving large detailed data sets.Able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlinesAdvanced knowledge of Excel, including PivotsStrong analytical skillsAttention to detail and quality assurance# LI-AIGAt AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
