Lead Plant Operator

Job role: Lead Plant Operator £35,000 + Company Benefits - Overtime - Training Monday - Friday - Day Shift Our client is a leading recycling company looking for an experienced Lead Plant Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operator to take responsibility for day-to-day site activities, lead a team of recycling operatives, and operate a range of heavy plant and machinery within a busy recycling facility. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a team of recycling operatives. * Take ownership and responsibility for day-to-day site activities. * Operate plant machinery across the recycling facility. * Operate large crane systems safely and efficiently. * Operate a range of other heavy plant and machinery. * Assist with the training and development of junior team members. * Assist with loading and unloading vehicles. * Operate and assist with site balers. * Carry out machinery inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements. * Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. * Follow all company health & safety procedures and ensure the correct PPE is worn at all times.
