About the role

Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client, a Telecommunications provider who are seeking a PAW - (Privileged Access Workstation) Project Manager on an initial 4 month contract. Location: Reading or Paddington - A couple of times per month Essential Requirements - *Applicants should have relevant experience of operating within PAW/PAM environments* Proven experience delivering complex security, identity, or infrastructure projects within UK telecoms or similarly regulated environments. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including the ability to influence, challenge, and drive clarity. Strong understanding of privileged access security concepts, secure administration models, and PAW‑related controls and how this interacts within a PAM environment. Strong governance, reporting, and project control capabilities, with a track record of restoring or maintaining project health. Experience working alongside technical delivery leads or architects on security‑focused projects. Expertise in structured project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile governance). Ability to synthesise technical detail into clear, concise, and actionable reporting. Desirable Experience Experience with UK telecoms operator assurance frameworks, including security baselines, risk management, and regulatory reporting. Familiarity with NCSC Secure Administration principles, Zero Trust, and privileged access hardening. Understanding of Microsoft security and identity ecosystems (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Conditional Access). Background in endpoint security, identity management, or privileged access tooling.
