Title: Quality Manager Location: Chester Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE) Industry: FMCG Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Shift: Monday Friday Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Benefits Package: Salary: £50,000 25 days holiday bank holidays Company pension (4% employer / 5% employee) Life assurance (1x salary) Enhanced maternity & paternity Healthcare & Dental Benefits Free onsite parking Genuine opportunity for progression High level of autonomy and influence across site Opportunity to lead quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Key Quality Manager Responsibilities: Lead Food Safety, Quality and GMP standards across site Ensure compliance with BRC, customer and legal requirements Act as key contact for audits, customer queries and escalations Drive investigations into non-conformance (micro, analytical, complaints) Own HACCP, validation and verification processes Embed a strong Food Safety & Quality culture on site Work closely with operations on hygiene, CIP and process controls Support NPD and site change management Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions Oversee product hold/release and traceability Quality Manager Requirements: Essential: 3 years experience in food manufacturing xwzovoh within a Quality/Technical role Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards Experience leading internal and external audits (BRC/customer) Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or similar microbiology (masters) Experience in high-care or complex manufacturing environments Coaching or mentoring experience
