Job Title: Intermediate Quantity SurveyorLocation: NorthamptonHours of work: Some flexibility- Mon to Fri 07:00-16:00/ 08:00-17:00/ 09:00-18:00Salary: £45,000-£55,000 depending on experienceInteraction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well-established business based in Northampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded QS looking to develop their career while working on a range of exciting construction and infrastructure projects.What you'll do As a Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial performance of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Key responsibilities include:Managing project budgets, cost plans, and forecastsMonitoring costs and reporting on financial performanceSupporting subcontractor procurement, tendering, and negotiationsPreparing and assessing interim valuations and paymentsManaging subcontractor accounts, variations, and final accountsAssisting with contract administration (JCT / NEC)Liaising closely with site teams, project managers, and senior commercial staffWhat we are looking for Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the UK construction sectorGood working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contractsStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailConfident communicator with solid negotiation skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamThe xwzovoh Package Competitive salary up to £55,00028 days annual leave including Bank holidaysCompany vehicle or allowancePension schemeBonus opportunitiesClear progression routes within a growing businessOngoing training and professional developmentWhy Join?
