Forklift Driver / Yard Operative Location: Barnsley Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (full-time) ongoing About the role: We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our client located in Barnsley for an ongoing position. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general yard duties, supporting the smooth running of daily operations. Key responsibilities: * Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials * Managing stock within the yard, ensuring accurate storage and organisation * Assisting with deliveries and dispatch * Carrying out general yard duties as required * Following all health and safety procedures at all times What we are looking for: * Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance essential; other licences beneficial) * Previous experience in a similar role preferred * Willingness to carry out manual handling tasks as part of daily duties * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why work for Driver Hire: Driver Hire Doncaster is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
