Proud of our heritage and focused on the future, we're helping customers build with confidence through sustainable roofing solutions while building tomorrow's world.So what's the mission?The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to provide a range of Engineering Support and Maintenance services across the Burton Manufacturing site. Predominantly the role is for Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown Response on process equipment in production and support areas. The aim is to ensure that all equipment is maintained effectively, and all breakdowns / repairs are carried out efficiently and safelyWhat are the mission-critical skills?Mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentIdeally apprentice trained to NVQ level 3 or time servedCompetent and experienced in core mechanical workshop skills (fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics)Experience in fabrication and welding would be beneficialBasic PLC fault finding skills would be an advantageCMMS experience ideally SAP - PM ModuleGood understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and associated regulatory requirementsExperience of contractor control systemsExperience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activitiesExcellent communication skills, both written and oralWhy join Marshalls?Our colleagues have been at the heart of Marshalls for generations and will continue to be the driving force behind our success for generations to come.
