Senior/Principal Transport Engineer – Wanted – Immediate Start! Leicester | £55,000–£60,000 per year (DOE) Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Transport Engineer looking for a new challenge? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior/Principal Transport Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Enderby, Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to build and lead your own team while working on a variety of projects across the commercial, residential, industrial and education sectors, with projects valued up to £50 million. What's on Offer: £55,000–£60,000 salary, dependent on experience Hybrid working policy (3 days per week in the office following completion of the probationary period) Flexitime policy 25 days annual leave, increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days, plus 8 statutory holidays Wellbeing Employee Assistance Programme Tailored employee benefits package Income protection scheme Company contributory pension scheme Training and development programme IStructE and ICE chartership mentoring Membership to professional institutions funded by the company Long service awards Company-funded team building events Excellent development and progression opportunities within a growing company Qualifications Essential: BEng/MEng qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience Chartered or working towards chartership through ICE, CIHT or TPP Strong knowledge of national and local transport policies and requirements Experience preparing Transport Statements and Transport Assessments Experience carrying out complex junction analysis Proficient in relevant transport/traffic modelling and industry software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving licence and access to own transport Roles & Responsibilities Manage and deliver all aspects of Transport Statements and Transport Assessments Work across a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects Work on projects within the commercial, residential, industrial and education sectors Manage projects up to £50 million in value Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent client relationships Carry out complex junction analysis and provide clear, practical recommendations Prepare high-quality and accurate project documentation Confidently represent the company at meetings Liaise with highways engineers, planning consultants, architects and clients Contribute to the development and growth of the transport team Build and lead your own team Requirements As a Senior/Principal Transport Engineer, you will also be expected to: Be a positive and collaborative team player Have strong leadership skills Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously Be able to build and maintain strong client relationships Have a proactive approach to your work Be keen to develop your career within a growing company About Regional Recruitment This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
