A leading global manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team. Operating a 24/7 facility, you'll play a key role in keeping advanced production and service equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably. This position suits an engineer who enjoys varied technical challenges, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is committed to maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This role involves supporting both planned and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and performance. You will work across a wide range of machinery, applying technical expertise to ensure the reliability of critical production assets. Day-to-day, you can expect to:
Carry out electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs to restore machine performance
Complete routine planned maintenance tasks within required timeframes
Document maintenance work, identify follow-up actions and support spares planning
Repair components in the workshop and interpret electrical drawings and diagnostic data
Support continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives through design and modification work
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
We're looking for a hands-on engineer with a proactive approach and strong electrical expertise. xwzovoh To be successful, you will need:
Apprentice trained, with a recognised electrical engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong understanding of health & safety and commitment to compliance
Good diagnostic ability and familiarity with maintenance software
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience with contractor management or permit-to-work systems is an advantage.
