FLT Counterbalance operative

Forklift Counterbalance Driver (PM Shift) - Sheldon/Yardley | £12.71 per hour We're recruiting a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy operation in Sheldon/Yardley. This is a great opportunity for someone confident on a counterbalance truck who takes pride in safe, accurate handling to minimise damage to stock and equipment. Pay rate ·£12.71 per hour Shift pattern ·Monday to Friday ·4:00pm - 12:00am (midnight) Key responsibilities ·Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, store and pick stock safely and efficiently ·Loading containers correctly to maximise space and ensure secure, compliant loads ·Working accurately to reduce risk of damage to stock, racking and equipment ·Supporting general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe What we're looking for ·Minimum 12 months' counterbalance forklift experience (essential) ·Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care ·Experience using long fork attachments (highly desirable) ·Good understanding of container loading / space optimisation ·Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a PM shift Please note this role is 70% Forklift, 30% general warehouse helping with wrapping and preparing parcels for dispatch, keeping areas tidy etc How to apply To apply, please submit your CV in the first instance and we'll be in touch to discuss the role.
