A progressive mixed secondary academy in Brent is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Drama for a permanent position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Performing Arts department and teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school that values creativity, high standards, and strong relationships with students.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons that help students build confidence, performance skills, public speaking ability, and an appreciation of theatre and dramatic texts. The Role
Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
Contributing to performances, productions, and extra-curricular activities
Working closely with colleagues within the Performing Arts faculty
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject
Experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school setting up to GCSE level
Strong classroom management skills
The legal right to work in the UK
Salary
M1 – UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale)
