Maintenance Operative

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to carry out planned preventative maintenance, attend breakdowns of machines and equipment, and ensure the highest levels of Health & Safety are maintained. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm Friday 7am-1:30pm Salary: £27,000-£30,000 DOE Location: Lye, DY9 Role Overview You will ensure the overall site, facilities and machinery run to maximum efficiency and output. This role is ideal for someone who is newly qualified/experienced and looking to develop and grow their skillset, building a long-term career with an industry leading manufacturer. Key Responsibilities * Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance Inspections/Servicing/repair as necessary. * Attending faults to machinery or plant at all company sites to ensure continuity of production. * The fabrication and/or manufacture of components for maintenance repairs. * Regular inspections of grounds, factory, security and general building maintenance. * Attending faults to customer site installations when requested. * Assistance in working for other departments when necessary. * Ensure the safety, security and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities and processes at all times. * Key holder – locking up/security responsibilities. Requirements * Computer skills with Maintenance Planning, Microsoft Tools * Apprentice trained, City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical Engineering/similar and industry experience * Teamwork ethos across all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management) For more information, please apply with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch
