JG289 - Warehouse Operative Location: West Bromwich Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 Per Annum Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day flow of goods in a warehouse, including loading/unloading deliveries, picking and packing orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Receive on the job learning for engineering process to decommission trucks. Work efficiently as part of the team to achieve targets as outlined by manager. Keep the warehouse and yard clean and efficient by managing the flow of waste materials, recycling, and packaging. Observe and comply with high levels of Health and safety. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work. Skills and Qualifications: Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment where you are responsible for the management of capital equipment parts An understanding of engineering would be beneficial Strong attention to detail Experience using SAP or similar MRP systems would be beneficial An understanding of supply chain processes Location: West Bromwich Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 Per Annum
