BESS Electrical Engineer

• Location: Remote, with rare site visits to Scotland (Only when essential)
• Contract Duration: 6 months initially - extension &/or offer of permanent role likely thereafter
• IR35: Outside IR35
• Rate: £650£750 per day
• Start: Immediate preferred, but candidates on up to 4 weeks notice considered

An urgent opportunity has opened for a BESS Electrical Engineer to support a live battery energy storage project that is now entering a critical final design and commissioning phase. The project has already been through delays and now needs an experienced BESS specialist who can step in quickly, take ownership of the remaining electrical design work, resolve final technical issues and help drive the project through to delivery. This is a remote outside IR35 contract with occasional site visits to Scotland, an immediate start preferred, and genuine potential for extension or a permanent role afterwards.
