About the role

Chase Taylor Recruitment are working with an established and growing business within the building products and manufacturing sector. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day warehouse operation and ensure high standards of safety, stock control, picking accuracy and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and working in a fast-paced environment. The Role As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring finished goods are accurately picked, loaded and despatched on time. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising and supporting the warehouse team daily. * Planning and organising warehouse workloads. * Maintaining high standards of picking accuracy and stock control. * Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and despatched on time. * Monitoring warehouse KPIs and driving performance improvements. * Maintaining excellent housekeeping and 5S standards. * Identifying and implementing process improvements. * Using and maintaining accurate WMS data. * Training, coaching and developing warehouse employees. * Supporting the introduction of new warehouse processes and technology. * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements. * Resolving stock issues, picking errors and non-conformances quickly. * Promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement. About You The ideal candidate will have: * 3+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role. * Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment. * Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). * Strong understanding of stock control, picking and despatch processes. * Experience with 5S and continuous improvement. * Strong communication and team leadership skills. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. * A hands-on, organised and proactive approach. * The ability to lead by example and drive improvements. IOSH Managing Safely and relevant warehouse/supervisory qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential. Why Apply?
