Fire Service Engineer – London £35,000–£48,000 Basic | Excellent OTE | 4-Day Night Shift Option | Permanent or Subcontract V7 Recruitment is looking for experienced Fire Service Engineers to support an established fire systems specialist with a significant and growing workload across London. There are multiple positions available, working across a portfolio of major commercial and high-rise buildings throughout the capital. The role would suit an engineer with a strong service, maintenance and fault-finding background looking for consistent work, excellent overtime opportunities and further technical training. The Role Planned preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems Reactive service and fault finding Diagnosing and repairing system faults Small works and minor modifications Testing fire alarm systems Working across addressable and networked systems Completing service documentation and reports Working across commercial and high-rise environments throughout LondonExperience Required Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance experience Strong fault-finding ability Experience with addressable fire alarm systems Gent and/or Notifier experience highly desirable Closed-protocol experience beneficial Good understanding of BS 5839 Manufacturer training advantageous Full UK driving licence ECS or equivalent preferredEngineers with a solid fire alarm background who are willing to undertake further manufacturer training will also be considered. Package £35,000–£48,000 basic salary, depending on experience Excellent OTE through regular overtime Day and night-shift opportunities Night shift option – 4-day working week Night hours between 5:00pm – 1:00am Night shifts paid at 1.5x Travel time paid in line with company policy Company vehicle and fuel card 25 days holiday + bank holidays Workplace pension Medical benefits PPE, uniform and equipment Ongoing manufacturer and industry training Continued career development and training academyPermanent or Subcontract The preference is permanent employment, however experienced subcontract Fire Service Engineers will also be considered for the current workload.
