A well-established Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy specialising in the delivery of rail and water infrastructure projects is looking to recruit an experienced Bentley / AutoCAD Technician to join its growing design team. The business has a long-standing presence within the infrastructure sector and is involved in the delivery of a range of engineering projects across the UK.

The Role

Produce high-quality technical drawings and design documentation.
Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Bentley software.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to support project delivery.
Ensure all drawings comply with project and company CAD standards.
Assist with document control and drawing management processes.
Support the delivery of rail, infrastructure and utility engineering projects.

Requirements

Strong AutoCAD experience.
Experience using Bentley MicroStation.
Previous experience within civil engineering, rail, infrastructure or utilities.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Experience with ProjectWise and/or Civil 3D would be advantageous.

Desirable

OpenRoads experience.
Network Rail, HS2, highways or water sector experience.
Consultancy background.
