Classic Car Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Classic Car Technician. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to specialise in classic vehicle restoration and bespoke builds. The successful individual will join a passionate team dedicated to restoring and building iconic classic vehicles, specifically Series Land Rovers, from the ground up. Benefits of a Classic Car Technician: * Competitive salary starting at £40,000+ DOE * Monday to Friday working hours, 40 hours per week * No weekend work required * Opportunity to work on distinctive classic vehicles * Join a growing, specialist business with a genuine passion for classic cars * Access to a supportive team environment with career development prospects Duties of a Classic Car Technician: * Build classic Series Land Rovers from the ground up, including mechanical and structural assembly * Rebuild suspensions and carry out comprehensive mechanical repairs * Carry out electrical fault-finding and associated repairs * Manage mechanical component fitting and assembly * Conduct repairs at various stages of the build process, working independently as well as collaboratively * Support larger mechanical operations, including engine removal and refitting * Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail across all tasks Requirements of a Classic Car Technician: * Proven experience working on classic cars, particularly within restoration or custom build projects * Strong mechanical skills with the confidence to complete a variety of repairs * Electrical knowledge and fault-finding capabilities * Ability to work independently, managing own workload effectively * Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship * Genuine passion for classic cars and an interest in vehicle restoration * Ability to work within a small, dedicated team environment If you are a Classic Car Technician looking to specialise in unique restoration projects within a reputable company, this is an excellent career opportunity.
