Senior Estimator / Estimator Derby | On-site Looking for more responsibility and the chance to make a real impact? We’re looking for an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator to join a well-established, privately owned Civil Engineering and Building Contractor based in Derby. This is a great opportunity to join a successful business delivering a diverse range of projects across the Energy, Industrial and Commercial sectors, with work spanning across the UK. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be one of a large team of Estimators. You’ll be one of the key Estimators within the business, playing a hands-on role in pricing and securing exciting projects and having a genuine influence on the company’s continued growth. You’ll work closely with the wider team from tender through to submission, bringing your commercial expertise, attention to detail and understanding of the construction industry to every opportunity. What You Will Need Experience estimating for industrial building projects Experience with small to medium-scale civil engineering projects Knowledge and experience of drainage works Experience with concrete structures Strong understanding of construction contracts, including: NEC3 Options A and B JCT ICE Knowledge of measurement and estimating standards, including:Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and quantities to produce accurate estimates CESMM Builders’ Quantities Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively to deadlines Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams If you have an Estimating background and you are looking for your next permanent opportunity, I would like to speak to you!!  Ganymede is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
