About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded People Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis, supporting the delivery of strategic people initiatives across the division. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and executing people strategies that directly support business performance and long-term growth.
You will work closely with leaders, the Group Talent Acquisition function, and L&D teams to ensure the organisation attracts, develops, and retains high-quality talent while fostering a high-performance culture.
You will be required to travel for this role to Preston, Cardiff and Swansea occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
You'll
provide strategic support, driving the development and execution of divisional people plans aligned to business goals
You'll Partner with Group Talent Acquisition to deliver effective workforce planning, ensuring the right people, skills, and capabilities are in place
Contribute to and support the delivery of group-wide people initiatives and the annual divisional People activity plan
You'll Support talent management and succession planning, strengthening leadership capability and developing high potential employees
Collaborate with L&D to identify and implement opportunities to upskill and build organisational capability
You'll Provide people-focused support for TUPE transfers, mergers & acquisitions, and integration activity
Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, developing and implementing mitigation plans
Coach and support leaders to proactively address organisational and people challenges
Support performance management and reward strategies to drive engagement, accountability, and innovation
Promote best practice and share insights across the division and wider group to support continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in an People Business Partner or Generalist role
Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
Experience supporting HR projects and initiatives
Knowledge of TUPE (incoming and outgoing) is advantageous
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data insights
High attention to detail and accuracy
Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
CIPD qualified (or equivalent relevant HR experience)
