This is an excellent opportunity to work with sector-leading partners on high-profile clean energy projects, supported by a large multi-disciplinary group of over 100 lawyers across real estate, construction, corporate, finance, environment, planning and dispute resolution.The RoleYou will work closely with senior lawyers in Bristol and across the UK on a wide range of clean energy matters, including:Power purchase agreementsBattery optimisation and tolling contractsBiogas offtake arrangementsClean energy project developments, acquisitions and disposalsLow carbon support regimes (CfDs, Capacity Market, REGOs, etc.)Energy supply arrangementsOfgem licensing and regulatory mattersGrid connection arrangements, IDNOs and private wire structuresHeat networks and heat offtake/supply contractsExperience with technologies such as solar PV, wind, hydro, battery storage, energy from waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure or district heating would be advantageous.Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a lawyer with:5-7 years' PQE in clean energy, commercial, projects or regulatory workStrong technical ability and experience advising on energy related contractsExcellent drafting, analytical and communication skillsConfidence managing complex matters independentlyA collaborative approach and ability to work across teamsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive, commercially minded outlookApplications from transactional lawyers with focused clean energy experience are also welcomed.BenefitsThe firm offers:A supportive, high-performing national team environmentOpportunities to work on market-leading clean energy projectsClear career progression and development pathwaysFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsAccess to a wide network of sector specialists and a dedicated PSLHow to ApplyIf this opportunity sounds of interest or you'd like a confidential conversation about your next career move, please contact:Email: : / The firm is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
