Job Advert X1 Boiler Engineer We are looking to recruit an experienced Boiler Maintenance Operative to work in X1 residential and student properties throughout Manchester and Liverpool. The role is predominantly Manchester based, however there will be regular travel to Liverpool required.   • Regular boiler servicing according to maintenance and compliance schedule across all X1 properties
  • Installing and repairing electric boilers and heating systems
  • Troubleshooting heating and plumbing issues
  • Some general maintenance to support team where required and where boiler service schedule allows
  • Keeping job progress up to date using in house software (training provided) and liaising with the relevant team members
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring every job is completed to a high standard

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • 3+ years' experience in plumbing and general residential boiler work
  • BPEC G3 certificate or willingness to work towards (X1 would sponsor this qualification if not held)
  • Ability to ensure compliance with current relevant safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player.
  • Good organisational skills needed to manage workload and calendars efficiently.

Salary - Competitive dependent on experience. Vehicle provided after 6-month probation period has been passed. Location: Manchester and Liverpool as required Contract type: Permanent, full time Hours: 9.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am - 4.30pm Friday Department Maintenance Contract type Permanent Hours 37.5 hours per week.
