Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on challenging product development and engineering projects, taking ideas from early-stage concepts through to design, prototyping and testing.
You’ll combine strong first-principles engineering with hands-on design and analysis, while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Mechanical concept generation and detailed design
3D CAD using SolidWorks
FEA / CFD and engineering analysis
Prototyping, testing and design iteration
First-principles calculations and problem solving
Project scoping and technical proposal development
Working directly with clients and technical stakeholders
Taking ownership of technical workstreams and project delivery
What we’re looking for:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
3+ years’ industry experience ideally within medical industry
Strong mechanical design and engineering fundamentals
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Experience with FEA, CFD or engineering simulation
Experience taking designs from concept through to prototype and test
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
