MTrec are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Newcastle, who are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using wiring diagrams and schematics.

Troubleshoot PLC systems, specifically Siemens platforms.

Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks (PPM).

Install and commission new machinery and equipment.

Identify, overhaul, and repair faults within mechanical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems. xwzovoh

Supporting with the installation of new machinery and cabling, as well as updating older models About You; Minimum of a time served apprenticeship in maintenance engineering to NVQ Level 3 (Electrical bias preferable) A HNC or above in a relevant discipline (desirable) PLC fault finding experience (Siemens) Experience with electrical cable installations and maintenance Mechanical aptitude and experience is also desirable Computer literate Microsoft Office.

Possession of an IPAF licence, MEWP (desirable) FLT licence (desirable) Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
