My client is looking for an experienced Senior Database Engineer to join its Technology & Transformation team.
This is a hands-on role combining Database Administration (DBA) and ETL development, with responsibility for supporting and improving the client's database and data integration environments.
With a programme of database upgrades approaching, they're looking for a senior engineer who can take ownership of technical problems, make pragmatic decisions and drive issues through to resolution without requiring close supervision.
The core environment includes Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and Teradata, with the organisation expected to move increasingly towards Microsoft Fabric in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain SQL Server and Teradata database environments.
• Support upcoming database upgrades, patching and migrations.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot ETL/ELT solutions using SSIS and SQL/T-SQL.
