About the role
Pump Engineer Location: London (Mobile with Van) Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm My client are looking for a skilled and reliable Pump Engineer to join their team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of pump systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout London.

This is a field-based role requiring strong fault-finding ability, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of pump systems
Diagnose and repair faults including leaks, pressure loss, vibration, overheating, and electrical/control issues
Remove, overhaul, and reinstall pumps and associated equipment
Work on systems such as: Booster sets
Circulation pumps
Sump & sewage pumps
Pressurisation units
Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation
Liaise with customers and site managers to explain issues and solutions
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures xwzovoh
The Person
Proven experience working as a pump engineer, mechanical engineer, or service engineer
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding ofmechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrics
Experience working on commercial or industrial pump systems
Ability to work independently in a mobile role
Full UK driving licence
