The hours for this role are 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:-
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
Be the key person for a group of children. Observe, monitor and record the progress of the children identifying the next steps that will support their learning and development.
To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room, reflective of the EYFS.
Support students, volunteers, unpaid staff and students undertaking work placements, ensuring they are given the proper support to acquire the skills and knowledge to work effectively within the setting.
To work in partnership with parents and carers.
To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:-
Full and relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years or recognised equivalent.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and a Relevant. safeguarding/child protection training undertaken, and the ability to meet annual training update requirements.
Current experience and training in the EYFS.
A high degree of professionalism.
All successful applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS carried out.
