Construction Tutor – Bricklaying, Vocational Skills & Design Technology (DT) Location: Dudley, Sandwell Setting: Specialist SEMH School Contract: Full-Time Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated Construction Tutor to join a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health and ASC school in Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in construction, bricklaying or vocational education who is passionate about engaging young people through practical, hands-on learning. You will deliver engaging and meaningful lessons in bricklaying, construction skills, vocational studies and Design Technology (DT), helping pupils develop practical abilities, confidence and essential life skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education and who benefit from a structured, supportive and practical learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver practical, engaging construction and vocational lessons to pupils within an SEMH setting. Teach introductory bricklaying skills, including measuring, mixing materials, laying bricks and understanding basic construction techniques.
