SEN Teaching Assistant - Hailsham, East Sussex Academics Ltd | Full-Time | Specialist SEN Provision Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? Academics are working with a specialist SEN setting in Hailsham to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of complex learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and can provide the patience, consistency and encouragement pupils need to thrive. The Role: Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support. Support pupils with additional learning and communication needs. Help implement individual learning plans and strategies. Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals. Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN. Experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs is desirable. A calm, patient and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for helping pupils reach their potential.
