Veterinary Surgeon - Long Melford
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Swayne & Partners in Long Melford.
As part of Kin Vet Community, a small collective of like-minded community veterinary practices, we benefit from the support, shared expertise and collaborative approach that comes from working alongside teams who share our commitment to exceptional veterinary care. Whilst every practice retains its own culture, leadership and way of working, being part of Kin Vet creates greater opportunities to learn from one another, invest in our people and facilities, and continue evolving the services we provide to pets and their owners.
Long Melford offers the opportunity to work within a friendly branch practice where continuity of care, strong client relationships and personalised veterinary medicine are at the heart of what we do.
You'll work closely with a supportive team while enjoying the benefits of being part of the wider Swayne & Partners network, giving you access to experienced colleagues, excellent clinical resources and opportunities for professional development.
This role is perfect for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys building lasting client relationships, managing cases from start to finish and working with genuine clinical autonomy.
Providing high-quality first opinion consultations
Performing routine soft tissue surgery confidently and independently
Managing a varied medical and surgical caseload
Building long-term relationships with clients and their pets
Long Melford combines the welcoming atmosphere of a community branch practice with the support and clinical expertise of a larger veterinary group. You'll have the freedom to practise excellent medicine while knowing experienced colleagues and advanced facilities are always available when needed. At least 2 years' UK small animal experience (5+ years preferred)
Confidence in routine surgery
A passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care
Certificate holders are welcomed, and we actively support further study and professional development.
1 in 5 OOH weekends based in Bury
Time off in lieu following weekend work
