Essential: Previous experience in a NOC, Service Desk, or IT Support environment Strong troubleshooting skills across networking and IT infrastructure Experience managing incidents and working to SLA targets Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment Strong communication and customer service skills Experience escalating issues appropriately to internal teams and third parties Ability to work rotating day/night shifts onsite Eligible to obtain security clearance Desirable: CCNA or equivalent networking certification Windows OS and Server support experience Familiarity with ITIL service management environments Experience using network monitoring tools Previous exposure to critical infrastructure or high-availability environments Experience working with telecoms, MSPs, or enterprise support teams Knowledge of networking technologies including routing and switching Why choose VANRATH?
