We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Downend looking for a Year 5 teacher to join them after May half term, through to the end of the summer term, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

This is a full class teaching role, so you’ll have the space to really make it your own, build relationships, shape learning, and see the impact you’re making every day.

The details

  • Start: After May half term
  • Contract: Full-time until summer, with scope to extend
  • Pay: Paid to scale, depending on experience
  • Requirement: Enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service

What we’re looking for

  • UK QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
  • Someone who can hit the ground running and build rapport quickly
  • A positive, calm presence in the classroom, with strong behaviour management
