Preschool Lead / Manager Location: Oldbury Salary: £33,000 - £35,500 (UQTS Level 6) Contract: Permanent Start Date: 05/09/2026 We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pre-school Lead / Pre-school Manager to support and oversee the early years provision within this successful Primary school. This successful early years setting is based within a Primary school in the Oldbury area. This is a great opportunity for a passionate early childhood professional to help maintain a high-quality learning environment and support young children in their early development. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of the preschool room/setting. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children Support the planning and delivery of an engaging early years curriculum. Guide, mentor, and support preschool staff within the room. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and early years regulations. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community. Monitor children's development and support their individual learning needs. Requirements Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above; degree desirable). Previous experience working in an early years setting, with leadership or room lead experience preferred. Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
