FEMALE TRACHEOSTOMY HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT – COMPLEX CARE Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire (S62) Pay: £17.00 per hour, including holiday pay Hours: Full-time Day shifts: 8:30am–6:30pm Night shifts: 10:00pm–8:00am Working pattern: Monday to Sunday, including weekends ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a six-year-old girl with complex clinical needs in a home and community setting. The service user has a non-traumatic spinal cord injury and is currently receiving hospital care, with discharge home anticipated. This is an opportunity to support her transition from hospital to home, helping establish familiar routines and providing consistent, person-centred care. You will work closely with the family, hospital professionals and school staff to ensure her safety, comfort and wellbeing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Depending on your shift, your duties will include: * Providing safe, compassionate and person-centred care at home and in community settings. * Delivering tracheostomy care, including suctioning and humidification. * Monitoring breathing, comfort and overall clinical presentation. * Supporting medication administration in line with the care plan. * Supporting PEJ feeding. * Providing full assistance with urinary and bowel management. ...
