Health and Safety Trainer

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional with a passion for developing workforce competence and driving positive safety behaviours? We are seeking a proactive and engaging Health & Safety Trainer to join a leading civil engineering and construction contractor, delivering high-quality training across live operational projects, in the West Midlands and north of the country. Based on the needs of the business, you will support site teams through practical training, assessments and competence development, helping to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and compliance are maintained across the organisation. The Role Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, you will plan, coordinate and deliver practical, field-based health and safety training across construction operations. Training programmes will be prioritised according to operational risks, competence gaps, audit findings, incidents and client requirements. You will be responsible for delivering engaging classroom and practical training, assessing competency standards, maintaining accurate training records and supporting a strong safety culture throughout the business.
