Tezlom Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Peer Support Workers to support individuals with mental health needs in a service based in Ealing, London This is a bank position offering flexible cover shifts, supporting individuals on their recovery journey by promoting independence, building confidence and encouraging positive mental wellbeing The successful candidate will provide person-centred support, using their experience and understanding of mental health to help individuals work towards their personal recovery goals and improve their quality of life Key Responsibilities * Provide practical and emotional support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties * Build positive, trusting and professional relationships with service users * Encourage individuals to develop independence, confidence and life skills * Support individuals to work towards their recovery goals and personal development * Promote social inclusion and encourage participation in community activities * Help individuals develop coping strategies and maintain positive mental wellbeing * Listen without judgement and provide encouragement and reassurance * Recognise changes in individuals' mental health and report any concerns appropriately * Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation using computer ...
