Workshop Controller

We are recruiting an experienced Workshop Controller to join our busy aftersales operation at our Wimbledon dealership. This permanent position offers a basic salary of £35,000–£37,000, achievable OTE of £42,000 and a 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. As a Workshop Controller, oversee workshop staff, facilities and daily workflow Allocate work to technicians and monitor progress throughout the day Motivate and support the team to achieve productivity, quality and performance targets Track vehicles through the workshop and ensure work is completed within agreed timescales Liaise with Service Reception to provide regular vehicle progress updates Maintain high standards of customer care and satisfaction Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency and productivity Support a positive, collaborative and customer-focused working environmentRequirements:

Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar aftersales position Minimum of two years’ main dealer experience in a comparable role Strong knowledge of workshop processes and vehicle repair operations Proven ability to motivate, support and organise a team of technicians Excellent communication and customer service skills Results-focused approach with the ability to monitor and improve productivity Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive environment Suitable proximity to Wimbledon, ideally within approximately one hour’s commuteIf you are an experienced Workshop Controller, we offer the opportunity to develop your career and make a measurable contribution to workshop performance and customer satisfaction.
