Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Undertake safeguarding assessments and interventions to protect children and young people from harm and reduce risk.
- Manage child protection, children in need and pre-proceedings cases, ensuring plans are outcome-focused and child-centred.
- Work directly with children and families to identify strengths, address concerns and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate effective safeguarding plans and multi-agency support.
- Prepare high-quality assessments, court reports and statutory documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
- Maintain accurate case records and manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely decision-making and compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
