Job title: Service Controller Location: Lopenhead, Somerset Salary: £28,000–£32,000 per annum We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Controller to join a busy and established team based in Lopenhead, Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual with strong administration and coordination skills to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a service department. You will be responsible for coordinating service engineers, managing customer enquiries, scheduling work and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Daily responsibilities: Scheduling and coordinating daily workloads for field service engineers. Managing incoming service calls, enquiries and customer requests. Planning engineer diaries and allocating jobs efficiently. Liaising with engineers to monitor job progress and provide updates. Keeping customers informed of appointment times and job status. Raising and processing service jobs, work orders and relevant paperwork. Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales. Coordinating parts requirements and following up on outstanding orders where necessary. Maintaining accurate records using internal systems.
