- Location: Rotherham
- Rate: Umbrella rate of £350 to £450 per day
- Job Type: Interim, Full-time hours, Hybrid (3 days onsite)
We are seeking a Building Surveyor to provide professional expertise across a variety of capital and refurbishment projects. This role involves delivering comprehensive surveying, design, contract administration, and project management services from inception through to completion.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver building surveying services across alteration, refurbishment, and construction projects.
- Undertake project management duties on construction and property-related schemes.
- Prepare and review designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Administer construction contracts and manage contractor performance.
- Provide professional advice on building construction, maintenance, and property-related matters.
- Support procurement and tendering activities as required.
- Monitor project costs, programmes, and risks to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and health and safety requirements.
- Undertake Principal Designer responsibilities where suitably qualified and appointed.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
