Head Chef – Staff Canteen
North London | £32,000–£36,000 per year | Monday to Friday ONLY 7:00am–3:00pm (NO WEEKENDS)
Hospitality Hunters is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a busy head office staff canteen. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on chef who enjoys creating food people look forward to, leading a close-knit team and keeping a kitchen running smoothly.
You'll oversee the day-to-day food operation, from menu planning and preparation through to service, ordering and food safety. The offering includes a varied, buffet-style selection, so you'll need to be confident producing appealing food at pace while maintaining quality and consistency.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting a kitchen team of up to four people.
- Planning menus and preparing a varied selection of dishes for daily service.
- Cooking and presenting food to a consistently high standard.
- Managing food ordering, stock levels, rotation and portion control.
- Keeping waste under control and making effective use of ingredients.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation.
