GCSE SEND Tutor - Glastonbury Location: Glastonbury, Somerset Role: GCSE SEND Tutor Phase: Secondary Working Arrangement: In-person About the Role Quantum Scholars is seeking a patient, supportive and experienced GCSE SEND Tutor to provide personalised educational support to a young person in Glastonbury, Somerset. The successful candidate will have experience supporting secondary-aged learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), alongside the subject knowledge and confidence to deliver GCSE-level tuition. You will be able to adapt your teaching approach to suit the learner's individual needs, abilities and learning style, helping them overcome barriers to education, build confidence and make meaningful academic progress. Experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, school avoidance or challenging behaviour would be particularly beneficial. The ideal tutor will be calm, flexible and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships and create a supportive learning environment. This role would suit a tutor who can identify gaps in learning, break down complex concepts and make GCSE-level content accessible and engaging for a learner who may require a more individualised approach.
