Freelance Site Manager - Blackpool

Your New Company A growing North West principal contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a gym facility in Blackpool. The project involves a full internal strip-out back to brick, followed by the delivery of approximately £500k of M&E installations and refurbishment works. This is a freelance opportunity with an immediate start and work secured through to Christmas. Your New Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. Duties will include: Managing all site operations from strip-out through to completion Coordinating subcontractors and M&E trades Maintaining health and safety compliance across site Delivering daily progress reports and site documentation Chairing site meetings and liaising with the client team Monitoring programme, quality and productivity Managing site logistics and material deliveriesWhat You'll Need to Succeed Previous experience delivering refurbishment projects Strong understanding of M&E coordination SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications Proven ability to manage subcontractors and programmes Excellent communication and organisational skills Available to start immediatelyWhat You'll Get in Return Competitive freelance day rate Immediate start Long-term contract through to Christmas Weekly pay via PAYE or umbrella company Opportunity to work with an established North West contractor Ongoing support from Hays Construction & Property What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
