Calling all Industrial sewing machinists! gap personnel are currently recruiting a full time, permanent sewing machinist for our client in Southend. Permanent, Full-Time, 39 Hours Mon – Thurs: 8:00 – 17:00 & Fri: 8:00 – 13:00  £14.76 - £15.35 per hour - dependent on skills and experience Responsibilities: Over-lock cut parts according to instructions/training. Seam cut parts into finished items, utilizing drawings, templates, work instructions, and/or samples as references. Perform any necessary reworks as directed by management, supervision, or inspection. Maintain cleanliness and regular oiling of sewing machine/over-locker, promptly reporting any faults to the Team Leader. Adhere to guidelines/instructions to ensure traceability is upheld. Execute duties in a proper and efficient manner, consistently acting in the Company's best interest and complying with Company Rules and Regulations. Uphold high standards of housekeeping. Assist team members with other tasks as needed. Contribute to creating and sustaining a safe working environment, adhering to published Health and Safety procedures. Undertake any other reasonable and relevant tasks as required.
