This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional with proven experience within the transport and logistics sector who understands the local market, has established relationships within the industry, and can confidently develop both clients and candidates throughout the Midlands region.

The successful candidate will already have a strong knowledge of local transport companies, haulage firms, logistics operators and distribution centres operating across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, the Black Country and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and growing an existing transport recruitment desk
• Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity
• Building relationships with transport managers, fleet managers and logistics decision-makers
• Recruiting HGV Class 1, Class 2, Van Drivers, Transport Planners, Warehouse Operatives and Logistics Professionals
• Conducting candidate interviews, registrations and compliance checks
